The Community Action Committee Inc. of Chambers, Coosa and Tallapoosa Counties will receive nearly $800,000 in stimulus funds as part of the Alabama Weatherization Association program.
The state received $30.6 million in economic stimulus funds to help thousands of low-income residents, and the grants are also intended to stimulate employment for the construction industry.
