This weekend marks the 234th anniversary of our nation’s independence, and in celebration many fireworks are sure to be exploding in yards and streets in Dadeville, around the county and throughout the country. All it takes is a little common sense and consideration for the festivities to end safely.

“Safety is the main concern,” said Dadeville Police Lt. David Barbour. “Do not drink and drive. Also, it is dangerous to mix alcohol and fireworks; have a designated shooter.”
