Befitting the remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001, residents of east central Alabama will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the tragic American event.

The East Alabama Fire Training Association, of which Alexander City Fire Department is a member, has been planning and preparing for over a year to bring the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit to the area.

The Tunnel to Towers mobile museum will make its first ever Alabama stop Sept. 11-15 at the Opelika Southern Union State Community College.
