Central Coosa falls to Lanett on the road 

It was almost to be expected to a degree, but the Central Coosa football team couldn’t overcome the Goliath that is Lanett on Friday night, falling 53-0.

It was not as though the Cougars (3-5, 2-2) were unable to get anything going in their favor. They had multiple drives reaching the red zone against one of the more prolific defenses in Class 2A; it was just their own fault that got in the way. The Cougars reached the end zone three times, all of which were called back due to a penalty, according to coach Daniel Flowers.
