The end of the regular season left a sour taste in the mouth of the Horseshoe Bend volleyball team.

Heading into the last game of the regular season, the Generals held a 3-0 record in Class 2A Area 7 play with one final game against Ranburne to secure home court advantage. However, after a loss to the Bulldogs in four sets, tying their area records at 3-1. And ultimately, it was Ranburne that earned hosting rights.
