It was not the prettiest night for Horseshoe Bend last week against Loachapoka, and it does not get much better with a trip to Lanett this week.

The Panthers are riding high, with the team being ranked No. 9 in all of Class 2A and sitting firmly at No. 1 in the Class 2A Region 4 standings. All the while posting arguably one of the best defensive units in the entire classification — averaging 8.1 points allowed this year.
