Samuel Higgs / TPI Horseshoe Bend's Lily Moss returns a serve from Dadeville on Thursday. Despite a slow start, dropping the first set, the Generals rallied back for three straight.

It certainly wasn’t pretty to start, but good teams always find a way out. 

The Horseshoe Bend volleyball team took a break from Class 2A Area 7 play to compete against Dadeville, which the Generals opened the season against. Ultimately, the final result remained the same with Horseshoe Bend taking the win, but it took a while to get things going.
