The Central Coosa Cougars had a rough go of things last week in a 58-6 loss to Loachapoka — and this week it does not get much better.

The Cougars (3-4, 2-1) go from one top dog to the next with a game against the newly appointed Class 2A Region 4 No. 1 seed Lanett, which is coming off a 20-19 win over Reeltown last week. For most of the season, what has been Lanett’s calling card is its play on the defensive side of the ball.
