The Central Coosa girls basketball team had a lot of turnover from a year ago, which opened the doors for new and young faces to step up. And early on, those faces have stepped up with Jalea Burton leading the team in rebounds, while Trinitee Strong serves as a strong scoring option.
However, in a 42-38 win over Dadeville, it was the seniors who paved the way for the Cougars — especially Myrakel Coleman.
