Three starters from last year, out fighting an injury, and a coach out the whole week fighting an illness, could be detrimental for anyone — unless you’re the Benjamin Russell girls basketball team. 

That was the story for the Wildcats heading into their rivalry game against the Central Coosa Cougars, but even with the card stacked against them — the Wildcats roared to a 50-18 win. However, it was not the prettiest to start.
