Will Swift, a former golfer at Central Alabama Community College and a member of the 1996 national championship team, won the 2005 Alabama State Amateur Championship over the weekend at Limestone Springs Golf Club near Oneonta.

Swift finished with a 4-under-par 67 in the final round for a total score of 9-under-par 275 to win the championship.
