The City of Alexander City has received a $250,000 grant from the Alabama Department of Transportation’s Aeronautics Bureau to construct a new airport terminal building at the T.C. Russell Field Airport.
As a part of the grant, the city must also match $250,000 for the project. The City Council accepted the grant bid at its regular meeting Monday night.
