Hello, Lake Martin, and welcome to the very special month of May!

On the second Sunday in May, we celebrate Mother’s Day, an annual observance honoring mothers and their influence on society. On the third Saturday in May, we celebrate Armed Forces Day, a tribute to the men and women currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. On the final Monday, we observe Memorial Day, honoring and mourning the military personnel who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. All three observances take place in May and are worthy of our focus and prayers of thanksgiving.
