For many people, art and the military are on opposite sides of the spectrum.

But a partnership between Maxwell Gunter Air Force Base and Wetumpka’s Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts shows they can work in unison. For the second year, Art of Service has served as a bridge between the two worlds. Air University is headquartered at the Montgomery Air Force base and has welcomed The Kelly. Local art has been showcased on base through Air University’s library.
