Cliff Williams / TPI Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley said the city has to work through federal programs to deal with beaver issues.

The Millbrook City Council authorized renewing an agreement with a federal agency to aid with its beaver issues at its Tuesday meeting.

With low lying areas and creeks around Millbrook, beavers sometimes construct dams. The renewal of a three-year agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Services allows the agency to manage the beaver population.
