Bill Patterson hopes a judge will stop the City of Tallassee from selling the airport property.

On Oct. 3, through his attorney Brandon Rice, Patterson asked Fifth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Steven Perryman for a temporary restraining order and injunction to stop the sale. The petition states lack of a bidding process and improper notification of the potential sale as reasons the court should stop the real estate transaction.
