Defending champion Noah Lyles, Jamaica's Kishane Thompson and Botswanan Letsile Tebogo headlined the sprinters progressing to the final of the men's 100m at the world championships in Tokyo on Sunday.

Lyles, the Olympic 100m champion who is also a three-time defending world 200m champion, was made to work in his semi-final before finally coming through to win in 9.92sec.
