Lewis Harold Patten, 88, was born in Tallapoosa County on Sept. 12, 1925, and died July 19, 2014, in Birmingham where he was currently a resident.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Roy Patten and Irene Thomas Patten and a brother, Thomas Patten, all of Jackson’s Gap.
