In  what’s become an annual tradition, I and a few of my friends load up and take a road trip once a season to watch an Auburn basketball game.

Ardie, Justin and I have previously been to Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville, Mississippi, and The Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. This year, my brother Allen joined the crew and we got a little more ambitious in our choice of destination. It’s one thing to take a day trip over to Mississippi, but it’s a totally different animal to drive the nearly seven hours into the heart of Cajun country. We set out for adventure last Friday afternoon and made some wonderful memories in the great city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
