Sasser leaves mark on Bow Hunters of Alabama

For nearly two decades, Alexander City’s Kevin Sasser has been leaving his mark on the bow hunting community. Last year, Sasser was a state champion for the Bow Hunters of Alabama, and although this year, he had to settle for second best due to missing a tournament, he still earned the honor of Central Zone Shooter of the Year.

The BHA Central Zone is made up of archery clubs from Alex City, Autauga County, Chilton County, Elmore County, Lee County, Shelby County, Talladega County and Tuscaloosa County. Each club hosts at least one invitational throughout the year before the shooter of the year championship tournament is held to finish things off.
