File / TPI Tallassee picked up its first win of the season this week, beating Montgomery Catholic.

After an 0-7 start to the season, the Tallassee baseball team has been looking for that elusive winning formula. On Thursday, Tallassee finally found it on the road at Montgomery Academy (2-6), as the Tigers picked up their first win, 15-1, in six innings. 

The win saw a total of 11 hits and one fielding error for Tallassee, not a perfect performance by any means but still plenty to get a confidence-lifting win for the previously winless squad.Â
