I’ve talked about gambling before. I believe just a few months into my tenure with Tallapoosa Publishers Inc., I talked about it and my conflicting views on the subject.

Now, I’ve gambled and probably will continue to gamble — heck, for a Higgs family retreat, it’s been a factor. The last few years have been spent in Las Vegas and on international waters, meaning I’ve frequented the roulette table and become a beast at three-card poker. Once we cross into five-card territory, I’m out. But the moral of the story is I see the enjoyment in the activity and have partaken and will continue to do so whenever I please.
