A Montgomery man is facing additional charges following a Tallassee robbery in April.

Devin Wingard, 25, of Montgomery, was arrested eight days after an April 14 incident on Azaleza Street left a 57-year-old victim shot in the abdomen. Wingard was arrested in Montgomery and charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree assault. He was held without bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing. The additional charge of intimidating a witness was put on the table during a preliminary hearing last week in front of Elmore County District Court Judge Glen Goggans.
