Elmore County athlete (10) gets past Smiths Station defenders in the Panthers' first-ever flag football game.

The Elmore County Panthers played their first flag football game of the season and program’s history. Smiths Station traveled to Eclectic for Elmore County’s inaugural game of flag football. Smiths Station defeated Elmore County 27-7, with Bailey Gardner scoring the lone touchdown for the Panthers. 

Going into the game, ECHS coach Jamie Blackwell knew it would be a challenge for his players knowing that Smiths Station has had a flag football team since 2022.
