Growing up is a part of life, and two Reeltown High School students grew in ways they did not expect this past summer.

Submitted / TPI Reeltown High School seniors Emileigh Williams and Reed Wood are recognized at a dinner hosted by American Legion Post 152 in Opelika in May before attending American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State in June.

RHS seniors Reed Wood and Emileigh Williams attended the American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State programs, respectively. The mock-legislative leadership development programs were not ones Wood and Williams assumed would have the impact it did. Williams said it was an experience she will never forget.
