Tallassee finally found the win column Friday night, and senior quarterback and defensive back Trent Morris was at the center of it all.

Morris put the Tigers on his back when they needed him most, making big plays with his legs and arm as Tallassee clawed past Booker T. Washington 34-30. The Tigers then finished the job on defense, stopping the Eagles’ final push to preserve their first victory of the season.
