Elmore County is going to the playoffs for the fifth year in a row, after a pummeling of Marbury last week – winning 35-3.

In typical fashion, the run game shined. As a whole, the Panthers rushed for 164 yards on the ground and made their way into the endzone twice — Tyler Payton led the team with 95 yards on 10 carries, scoring one of the rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Gage Davis also had an impressive day, going 10-for-18 for 153 passing yards while connecting with Beau Traylor for a score.
