It took a jury 20 minutes of deliberation Wednesday to find a Tuskegee man guilty of murder in the shooting of Broderick Sanders in a Tallassee park in 2023.

Robdarius Ronkevious Smith

Sanders, 28, of Tallassee, was walking along Washington Street near Funtasic Park on Sept. 20, 2023 when he encountered Robdarius Ronkevious Smith, 33, of Tuskegee. Moments later Smith shot Sanders in the lower back leaving an exit wound in Smith’s neck.
