Joey Wiginton has only been mayor of Tallassee for a few months, but he already has rattled the tree to get help improving the town for businesses and residents alike. And it's working.

In just the last week the mayor was able to wrangle together Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs staff including director Kenneth Boswell and Alabama Power officials including Quentin Riggins.
