The legacy of Megan Giles will not be forgotten in her community thanks to the relentless efforts of her family and former high school. 

A seven-year member of the Reeltown High School Beta Club, RHS band captain and dedicated pre-medical student at The University of Alabama with dreams of becoming an OB/GYN, Giles was honored Friday by the RHS Beta Club hosting a blood drive in her honor. Giles' untimely death occurred in November 2025 after being struck by a vehicle in Tuscaloosa.
