A woman from Tallapoosa County was killed Saturday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle near Bryant-Denny Stadium just before the Alabama-LSU football game.

According to the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Megan Elisabeth Giles, 19, of Jacksons Gap was crossing Jack Warner Parkway when she was hit by a westbound vehicle driven by a 40-year-old woman from Tuscaloosa.
