The Dadeville City Council approved the demolition of 285 Main St. during a public hearing in Tuesday’s council meeting. 

The property owner, Amber Wilkerson, came before the council and asked for an extension as she claimed she has been in contact with the Church of the Highlands that she said would help salvage her home. The people she said she spoke with from the church were absent from the meeting, but Wilkerson said she was told they would be present.
