Foreclosures held steady during the first quarter of 2011 – one of several small signs that have local real estate specialists feeling more confident about the market.

The Tallapoosa County Probate Office reported 31 foreclosures during the first three months of the year. In 2010 the county reported 29 foreclosures in the fourth quarter and 44 in the third.
