A local of Dadeville, Jamie Adcock got involved with Wreaths Across America, an organization that honors veterans by placing wreaths on their gravesites, because of his passion for honoring them. 

Last year, Adcock raised $2,000 and purchased 52 wreaths. This year he was able to increase that number significantly raising $5,000 and purchasing 388 wreaths. The wreath laying ceremony is 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Dadeville City Cemetery. The wreaths will stay on the veterans gravesites for four weeks.
