Former Dadeville yarn store owner and now self-published author Teresa McKelvey is guiding readers of her novel about divorce in a way she wishes she knew about when she was navigating her own.
Submitted / TPI Teresa McKelvey takes a photo with her book at her writing desk.
McKelvey said the book entitled “I Got a Divorce: A Christian's Guide to Surviving Divorce, Recovering Your Heart, and Discovering New Beginnings,” was birthed as a result of her and her current husband going for walks and talking about the lack of resources regarding the experience of divorce as a Christian. McKelvey’s husband also contributed to the novel.
