The Dadeville High Tigers found themselves in a heavyweight fistfight Friday night against Class 3A Region 4 foe Lee-Scott Academy. After four quarters and overtime, the visiting Warriors were able to land a pair of haymakers that secured the 27-20 victory and left the hometown Tigers with work to do in the region with the second half of the 2025 football season underway.

“I told them that games like this are why you play football,” coach Chad McKelvey said. “That was a fun game, an exciting game. But nobody wants to be on the other side of a game like this. I know they are hurting. We love them and we are going to keep working. Everything that we want is right there in front of us. We can still make the playoffs. We’ve still got games to win.”
