Takes a team: DES Teacher of the Year praises school community

After working in education for 30 years before retirement, the Dadeville Elementary School Teacher of the Year knew his mission in education was not over. 

DES physical education department head David Barron worked in the Panama City school system in Florida before retiring and moving to Dadeville three years ago with his wife. He worked at a middle school, high school and elementary school. Barron is also the varsity football coach and softball coach at Dadeville High School. Now, he is the Dadeville Elementary Teacher of the Year.
