The Holtville-Elmore County football game this Friday night will be one to watch. These AHSAA Class 5A Region 4 rivals have played each other every year since 1950. Elmore County (2-1) has the advantage in the overall record, defeating Holtville (2-1,1-0) 45 times out of the 76 total meetings compared to Holtville’s 26 wins against the Panthers.
Both teams are coming off wins from last week, as Holtville defeated region opponent Sylacauga in a back-and-forth battle, 34-31.
