Holtville schools have room to grow if and when the Elmore County Board of Education finds funding for construction.

At a special called meeting Thursday, the board approved entering into a contract to purchase 108.81 acres of property adjacent to current school property in Holtville. The purchase price is $1.3 million plus closing costs, which is approximately $12,000 per acre.
