Success Breeds Success: Wetumpka High honored by A+ College Ready

Cliff Williams / The Herald Wetumpka High School has recently been named an A+ College Ready School of Excellence. The achievement is based on AP classes and testing for the 2022-23 academic school year. If the school meets A+’s next goal it will earn School of Distinction.

A pipeline between Wetumpka high and middle schools helped the former earn an award from A+ College Ready.

Over the summer Wetumpka High School learned it had excellent Advanced Placement AP scores. Just last month it was given a School of Excellence award — one of 10 high schools across the state to receive the distinction.
