Edgewood Academy senior middle AC Kelley finished her final season as a Wildcat without a state championship, but with a slew of accomplishments and her own legacy. She had 221 kills, 75 blocks, 100 digs and 35 aces this season.

Edgewood Academy’s AC Kelley is as sweet and unassuming as can be — until you get her on the volleyball court. That’s when she comes out of her shell, with her longtime teammates on the court, celebrating another perfectly executed play then getting back into position, ready for the next one.

This season, things were different for the Wildcats. They welcomed a first-year coach in Morgan Harrelson to lead their program after their last two coaches combined for six consecutive state titles in AISA-AA between 2019 and 2024, not to mention the three titles before that in AISA-A between 2016 and 2018. To call Edgewood volleyball a program with a winning pedigree would be a substantial understatement.
