Coming off the bye week, the Holtville Bulldogs struggled to find their footing at Maplesville, losing 52-14.

Maplesville High School completely flipped the script on Holtville High School this season after a loss in 2024, running away with a 52-14 win. After suffering a 35-7 loss to the Bulldogs last season, the Red Devils returned the favor with their own convincing win.
“I was really pleased with the way our guys played, we came out fast,” Maplesville coach Brad Abbott said. “This was a game they had circled, and they felt like last year they did not play their best. I was proud of them tonight.”
