The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven individuals following an ongoing narcotics investigation conducted by deputies and investigators with the Clay-COOSA Narcotics Task Force.

As a result of the investigation, Samantha Pitts Sly, 47, was arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, second-degree possession of marijuana, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs, a press release stated. Chandler Sly was also arrested for chemical endangerment to a child. He was additionally charged with second-degree possession of marijuana, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs.
