Sports are always more fun when you have a rival to look forward to seeing. In years past, Briarwood Christian has, in essence, held that distinction for the Benjamin Russell fishing team. This year, however, Vestavia Hills has been the team Benjamin Russell has its eye on.
Separated by only two points in the grand standings, thanks to a first-place finish on Logan Martin for the Wildcats, Vestavia Hills holds a narrow lead heading into the final tournament of this season, held at Lake Pickwick.
