On a muggy Friday night in Crenshaw County, the Luverne School Tigers hosted the Central Coosa Cougars for the first round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association playoffs.

Field conditions were soggy at Glenn Daniel Stadium, but the Tigers’ leveraged their hometown advantage to gain the victory, 50-12.
