Miles College Purple Marching Machine drumline closed out an entertaining Black History celebration hosted by Alexander City Middle School Friday afternoon.

The 2026 theme for the program was Excellence in Education with keynote speaker Dr. Beverly Price giving the audience several examples of how the more education you receive, the more choices you have.
