An Alexander City man remains in the Tallapoosa County Jail for alleged child abuse torture and other crimes.

According to court documents, David Frola Jr., of Alex City, was arrested Tuesday for “picking up (a child) and throwing her against the wall” Monday. Frola was also charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, as court documents state Frola had a firearm despite a prior conviction in New Jersey for armed robbery in 2012.
