First steps will be taken toward maintenance and upgrades for facilities across Alexander City Schools.

At the April 15 Alexander City Board of Education meeting, the board approved a bid for the new video board at the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex football field. The bid, $549,265, was awarded to MJ Brooks and Son Construction Inc. located in Sylacauga, moving ACS one step closer to the addition.
