The Alexander City Board of Education meeting wrapped up items for the 2018-19 school year and recognized board members, staff and students at its meeting Tuesday.

School board member David Sturdivant was recognized at his last meeting before ending his final term. Sturdivant served on the board for 10 years and will be replaced by Kevin Speaks.
