Camp Hill hashes out plans for the town’s water

Mayor Messiah Williams-Cole addressed a Camp Hill citizen regarding the town's water situation. He outlined why the town forgoes part of the grant for its water and sewage systems.

After turning down part of a grant, the Town of Camp Hill is beginning to build its water board and recently clarified the town’s water situation over the past six months.

In a previous Outlook article, Alabama Rep. Ed Oliver reported the grants to redo the town’s water and sewage system totaled up to $17 million. During the Aug. 21 council meeting, Camp Hill mayor Messiah Williams-Cole reported it totaled up to $13 million.
